Pharmacy Patients
This course provides an overview of essential facts about HIV/AIDS, transmission, prevention, casual contact, testing procedures, state laws and regulations, medications, and services available to Southern Nevada residents living with HIV/AIDS.
Living Well is a compassionate life support group for persons living with HIV/AIDS. All HIV positive individuals are welcome to attend regardless of age, gender, or history of HIV diagnosis.
Med-Time is an HIV/AIDS health education dinner and learn program that provides an opportunity for positive individuals to learn about medication options and treatment adherence, as well as meet with a pharmacist one on one to review all of medications.
Safe Sex kits are provided to the community to encourage individuals to take charge of their sexual health. Kits include condoms, lube, PEP and PrEP info sheets and information on securing an appointment in the Arlene Cooper Community Health Center.
The LTC team assists individuals who misuse substances and those who are vulnerable to overdose by facilitating opportunities to ensure they are connected to services that will promote harm reduction and safe recovery strategies, such as:
