In recognition of World AIDS Day 2024, The Center presented our very first World AIDS Day Awards Dinner to honor and celebrate individuals within our community who have exhibited great dedication and leadership in the field of HIV.
The award recipients are prime examples of people who are passionate and continue to extend themselves for the betterment of our communities. The recipients were:
Dr. Jerry Cade - Provider of the Year
Ciara Owens - Community Advocate of the Year
Chris Reynolds - Community Partner of the Year
The event was also an opportunity for local artists to showcase and sell their handcrafted designs. in hopes that their lived experiences will be enhanced by the support.
Everyone is attendance experienced a delicious dinner by a beloved caterer, a time to network and purchase beautiful artwork, and a time to celebrate their peers and colleagues. Red & Black was the color scheme of the evening. We look forward to making this an annual event.
