The Center is thrilled to present the Ballroom Bootcamp: Las Vegas Edition, a 4-week experience led by none other than the internationally renowned Dale Blackheart Revlon. This free bootcamp offers a rare opportunity to learn from a true legend in the BallroomScene, whose contributions to the art of vogue and dance continue to inspire generations worldwide.
Born as David Leach Jr. in Baltimore, MD, Dale Blackheart Revlon is an American artist whose journey is nothing short of extraordinary. Growing up as a young, Black, gay male in Baltimore, Dale found refuge and freedom in the underground LGBTQIA+ BallroomScene, where he honed his skills in vogue—a dance style deeply rooted in expression, resilience, and creativity. With over a decade of experience and collaborations with celebrated artists such as Régine Chopinot, Saul Williams, and Frédéric Nauczyciel, Dale has cemented his status as an international legend in the world of dance.
Dale’s career has taken him across the globe, from choreographing original productions to acting and performing in live theater. His notable works include CUNTender (2012), Legendary (2013), and Évanescent (2020), with performances spanning the United States, Canada, and Europe. A skilled choreographer and teacher, Dale has brought vogue and ballroom to audiences in cities as diverse as Paris, the Philippines, and Las Vegas. Most recently, Dale became the first and only American to be deemed Legendary in Paris in 2023—a testament to his enduring influence in the BallroomScene.
But Dale’s mission goes beyond performing; he is passionate about preserving the authenticity of ballroom culture while allowing it to evolve. Through workshops, performances, and training sessions, Dale seeks to pass on the legacy of ballroom—a culture born from the Harlem Renaissance and nurtured by Black and Latinx LGBTQ+ communities. Now, he's bringing this energy and expertise to Las Vegas.

Held every Saturday at The Center, this free 4-week bootcamp will guide participants through ballroom etiquette, styling, and performance techniques. Each week, you’ll work on perfecting your moves, learning how to create looks that snatch trophies, and building the confidence needed to dominate the ballroom floor.
Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned performer, this bootcamp is your chance to develop a routine that reflects your unique style and artistry.
