Recognizing Our Leaders of Change
Julie Cameron-Doe, Chief Financial Officer at Wynn Resorts, is deserving of the title "Person of the Year." Her exceptional advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights and unwavering commitment to equality mirrors The Center's core values. Julie's role at Wynn Resorts, a company that places a premium on diversity, serves as a beacon of inspiration for the entire industry. Her influence extends beyond corporate walls, making a significant impact on the LGBTQ+ community's advancement.
Julian High, President and CEO of United Way of Southern Nevada, is honored with the Lanny D. Love Hero Award. Through his diverse roles, from pioneering casino marketing director to dedicated executive for the Human Rights Campaign, Julian has consistently championed equality and human rights. His influence has reverberated across local and national communities, forging a path toward greater inclusivity and acceptance.
Brian Hosier, the retiring Chief Operating Officer of The Center, will be honored with The Center Legacy Award. A long-serving member of The Center's Board of Directors, including as Chair, Brian's instrumental contributions have been pivotal to the organization's growth. His visionary leadership in establishing an onsite pharmacy and expanding access to essential medications has solidified The Center's sustainability and capacity to serve a burgeoning number of individuals.
