For Women


Launched in January 2016, Elle is a group meeting for younger lesbians, ages 18 to 30, with a goal of empowering them to end lesbian erasure and claim their place in the community. Every other Friday 6-9 p.m., alternating with The F Word.

Forces United — Women Veteran’s Support Group

This is an independent, peer-led group.

Forces United is a peer support group lead by a Professional Counselor-Intern, designed to provide a safe, confidential space to address lesbian issues relating to military life/service. Second Thursday of each month 7–9 p.m.

The L Group

This is an independent, peer-led group.

The L Group’s “Chat n’ More” social group meets each week at 7pm on Friday nights. The group features a rap/chat group the 1st & 3rd Fridays of the month, crafts on the 2nd Friday and lesbian movie night the 4th Friday. The goal of the group is to provide a safe, confidential space for lesbians to meet, discuss various topics, enjoy crafts and movies, all the while creating new friendships and strengthening the lesbian community as a whole. For information on what’s happening with the “Rap n’ More” group and all things lesbian at The Center visit

Wize Womyn

This is an independent, peer-led group.

Wize Womyn is for mature lesbians who come together at least weekly, usually at noon followed by lunch, to get acquainted and discuss topics of interest. Frequently, other social activities may include: movies, concerts, dinners, local social events, picnics and dances. Wize Womyn holds regular meetings Wednesdays at The Center at noon.
